This process of thought might explain to the advanced ideas the older civilizations had , the way the Inca’s and Mayan’s created the map of the universe our how the Persians and Greek designed a ruling structure to manage a large number of people. These are a very few of the most common known achievements of these civilizations. Now look at the art and design work , their creative need asked for arches to be build , temples to go higher and higher.
As it was touching God itself, because in those times “God” was not a human, God was the bringer of light and of life. God would die in the cold winters just to return 3 days later to provide its warmth again. You might have guessed which “God” I am talking about. The sun, the bringer of life, without the sun there would be no life the sun with its cycles going around and its winter solstice of resurrection.
So how come not many of you know this and how come that the sun with all his warmth and life giving abilities got replaced by a vengeful man in the cloud that drowns civilization in frogs, water , sin? The funny thing is that the civilizations that I mentioned earlier kept on going with their grand achievements; there way of life and no massive floods came to kill them all. Even though they didn’t have any believe in a single god. As a matter of fact they believe in a bunch of gods, so many that it was a bit difficult to keep track of them all.
Now you might ask what happened to them now Antonie? Why aren’t I speaking Latin and am I watching the great games in the coliseums. Well let me tell you that you are part of them, your genes will have a string of DNA here and there that will link you to those grand civilizations.
And why is 33 % Christian, 21 % Muslim in this world? What happened to those believes of the old societies? A tipping point happened that forced the elite to switch sides.
Imagine being a simple carpenter in a roman empire, because you’re not of roman blood you will be discriminated just for living. You see how your friends are suppressed and you find it unfair how those rich and stuck up roman bastards take all the glory and you are stuck with working your ass of for a few dupondius a month. It would really piss me off too. And it did get a lot of people angry, so many that it caused a revolution, but every revolution needs a cause which all people can agree upon a so called “Greater cause”. The name was Jesus and he was the Che Guevara from the old days, he would free the suppressed people from the rich and powerful elite.
The guerilla warfare that followed was getting more intense by the day and the elite were losing ground and power. But let’s not forget they are an advanced breed of human beings, the power and knowledge they gathered was not a lucky draw but took years of tactical planning, politics and a lot of money. They were definitely not going to give it all way to a bunch of barbarians. So the best scientists, philosophers, the roman congress and of course the emperor came together to discuss this issue, what they discussed has been burned by the church but the outcome is as followed.
“If you can’t beat them, join them. But make sure you provide the base rules”
And so they did, the elite accepted the “new word” and would provide power to the up and coming stars. A migration from old to new religion took place and eventually all of the European empire was converted. The only thing left to do was burning the evidence of the old world and start from scratch again. Only they burned a little bit too much so a huge amount of knowledge that the old civilizations had gather in the thousands of years of there existence had to be rediscovered yet again.
I welcome you to the dark ages.
